Hello all,
I know it has been awhile since I've posted but Life has been crazy. I was working on some great stuff that soon I'll be able to post. But for the past 2 weeks I've been in and out of the Hospital with my poor Hubby. He has been internally bleeding, can we say SCARY!!! He is feeling lots better and I'm thankful for all the prayers sent our way. I hope to get to leave the hospital today and get back to regular life by Monday.
Even though I have been unable to post anything. I have enjoyed being able to look at a lot of great blogs and posts. You're great post have kept me occupied as I sit in the hospital. Great job everyone.

10 Year Anniversary
Wow, today is my 10 Year Anniversary with the love of my
life. Where has the time gone, I really do feel like the time has blown by. It
felt like yesterday I was just hanging out with the "Quad" and bang... I
have a 9 year old daughter and 7 year old son and live in Utah (thought that
would never happen... never say never!) It has been a roller coaster ride for 10
years, ups and downs, laughs and cries and sometimes screaming, but as we stop
here at 10 years. I say, "I want to ride it again." So hopefully another 10 years...
and then another 10 years... till we reach eternity.
I love the church saying "I never said it would be easy, but that it would be worth it." I know that often applies to life, but I equally think it applies to marriage.
I really do have a great husband; he came home last night with some tulips (my favorite flowers). Today, we went to lunch before he went to work and even though we didn't do something spectacular it was so perfect. Because, I felt like after 10 years, my husband is my best friend and no matter what we do, it's great. (We did make out so it was better than great)

Temple Bracelet
So one of my favorite gifts is from my BFF Melissa, She made me a Temple bracelet. I keep it in my Temple bag and love to use it. So, when I heard both my Sisters-in-Law were going through the Temple, I knew exactly what I wanted to make them.
What is a Temple bracelet? It is a pretty bracelet that has a clip attached to hold your Temple name slip while doing a session.
What you will need :
white and clear beads
badge clips
jewelry ring
stretchy cord
First. I take the plastic part off the badge clip and attach a jewelry ring to clip.
Next. String beads and clip onto stretchy cord and knot to close.
Then you are done, so easy, enjoy. I know my Sisters-in-law are going to love it.
Thanks for visiting I would love to see how yours comes out.
I had such a wonderful weekend, I got to drive down to Arizona and be with my two sisters-in-law as they got to go through the temple. It was a beautiful day one that will forever be in my memories.
Don't you love those days that are filled with meaningful conversation, roaring laughter, good food and above all the spirit. Also, they loved the bracelets you can see them wearing them in this beautiful picture we took right before we went to the Mesa Temple.

Couples Game Night

Newlywed Game
Just hand out some paper and pens and ask the following questions. Have the wives and husbands answer the questions. At the end see which couple has the most matches, least matches and which couple has the best fight, I handed out prizes for each that I purchased on my Target run. This is a great game to get to know each other, it was fun to see people come out of their shell.
1. Where was your first kiss?
2. What color did your wife wear on your first date?
3. How long does it take your wife to get ready in the morning?
4. What color are your wife's eyes?
5. Where will your wife say she had the best vacation with you?
6. What is the most embarrassing thing your husband has done around you?
7. What dish does your wife prepare that she thinks you enjoy the most?
8. Which one of your husband's habits would you like to break?
9. What color tie would your husband like?
10. What comic character best describes your husband?
11. Where did your husband take you on your first date?
12. If you asked your husband to cook dinner one evening, what dish would he prepare?
13. How would you rate your wife's morning breath? On a scale 1-10
14. What percent of house work do you do? for husband
15. What was the first meal that your wife ever cooked for you?
16. What did your spouse get you for Christmas last year?
17. Who is the safer driver?
18. What is the worst thing that happened on your wedding day, if anything?
19. What is your husband's favorite restaurant?
20. What would be your wife's dream vacation?
21. Which would your husband least like to do: go shopping with you or clean the toilets?
22. Who is the most patient?
23. What did you get your husband for his birthday last, and vice versa?
24. What is your husband's ultimate favorite movie?
25. Who gets to control the TV remote?
26. How many pairs of shoes does your wife own?
27. What is your wife's greatest fear?
This is the funniest game to play with a group of people. Every time we play my side aches with laughter. It is a sort of like charades.
1. Cut a piece of paper in to strips (about 1x2 inches)
2. Hand out 3 strips of paper to each person (depending on the amount of people you may hand out more or less strips.)
3. Have each person write a name on each piece of paper. (It can be anyone, actor, singer, comic character, person in the room, etc. keep in mind you want the other people in the room to be able to guess the name.) put all the names in a bowl.
4. Break the group into 2 teams (we did girls vs boys)
How to play:
Overview:
This is a 3 round game. Each round is played until all the names in bowl have been guessed. At the end of each round tally how many names each team has guessed and put all the names back in the bowl. At the end of the 3 rounds the team with the most points wins.
How each round is played:
Each team takes turns trying to guess as many names as the can in 30sec.
Round 1: You can act or say anything to help your team guess the name (except the name on the card or what it rhymes with)
Round 2: You can act or say only 2 words to describe the name. (except the name on the card or what it rhymes with)
Round 3: You can only act to describe the name on the card.
It may sound hard to only act in the 3 round but keep in mind you will be using the same names in all 3 rounds so by the time you get to round 3 it is easier then you think. While playing last night I saw the best Moonwalk (Michel Jackson), the best Karate chop (Bruce Lee) and the best truffle shuffle (Chunk from The Goonies) Trust me once you start playing this game you won't be able to stop. It is truly the best game to get people out of their shell and having fun.

Syrup Taste Test

So one of my favorite things my family does is taste tests. We have a big family there are usually 10 adults at Sunday dinner, so we have a perfect panel to have a taste test. It's a fun active to see what we like best.
On this Sunday we had waffles for dinner and so it was a perfect time to try out Syrups.
We have one person in charge and they put each syrup in a cup with a number. We then had a paper that had us first try to see if we could guess the brand and then next rank the syrups from best to worst.
The Choices Were:
1. Mrs. Butters Worth
2. Log Cabin
3. Great Value
4. Aunt Jemima
5. Spring Tree Maple
6. Organic Maple
Let me tell you it is harder then you think. In our family we were shocked to find out that the best was Log Cabin and then next Great Value. The worst was Organic Maple and Spring Tree Maple. Who knew, I have never bought Log Cabin but now I will. Next, we want to try out ketchup and BBQ sauce.
Try it in your family I think you may be shocked by the results.

14 Days of Love
So this year February has been so fun. I decided to do 14 Days of Love for my husband and kids. I went to the Dollar store and got some candy and wrote little notes on them. Every night I leave the treat on the table to surprise my family in the morning. They have loved it so much. I forgot to set out a treat the other night and my son woke me up and said "mom where's my love?"

Hope you have a
great Valentine's Day.

Family snow day
So while at Costco I bought something I thought I would never buy... a sled. But hey we have the frozen water stuff all over up here in Utah. So we took our sleds out on a test run and they are a winner with my 3 kids. Look at how happy they are but if you saw me behind the camera you would see on my face how cold I am.

Fun day in the city
So, we live in a small town called Tooele and today we drove into the city to run some earns and see a movie. Hey, we even went bull ridding. hehe
I almost pee'd my pants during lunch. We were playing a game in which we would think of a name we would be called on the weekend. We were throwing out names for each other like Samantha, Chester, Spencer and such. Well Adam wanted something manly so I suggested Duke. And he was like yeah that's good until Elizabeth said, " I love you Dooky (Dukey)" Adam quickly looked at me and said nope that won't work as I died laughing.
The day ended great, for when we got home in the mail was the disk Mom Fisher sent of Fisher Family photos we took before we left Arizona. Even Robyn was in town so we got everyone in. They came out soooooooooo good. Bedie Price worked her magic again. I have to show you.
The Big Fisher Family
Mom and Dad Fisher with the "Single Ladies"
Robert & his family
Us
Katie & her family
Robyn & her family
Seth & his new wife & baby in the oven.
Mom & Dad Fisher & all the grand kids.
Soon these will be on my wall I have just the space waiting.
Sad Day
So, as most of you know I've move from Arizona to the great state of Utah. So many things are going well here. Weather great, kids have lots of friends, Adam loves his new job and I have more time to craft. But, Thursday I got sad, I just miss everyone and there are a lot of people to miss. It hit me when I got a call from my Arizona home teacher, he is so sweet, he just called to see if all was well and then BANG it hit me the sadness. But, all is well cause in my time of sadness, my husband rises to the occasion and reminds me how wonderful he is.
He is working 12 hour overnight shifts and Friday morning he came home with flowers to brighten my day and brighten they did.
Hey they even sparked my craftiness.... First I tried out something I've been dying to try on Pinterest.
Then, I finally finished a project that has been sitting around for what seems like forever. Now I had the time and the reason to finally finish it. As my hubby went off to sleep and my kids off to school I got to work. Here is my end result, this was a Super Saturday project sparked by Sister Wilson.
Omg, I love it. Makes me so happy coming home to fresh flowers. It was soooo easy to make too. Here is what you do...
You need:
- wood heart
- wire hanger
- mason jar
- paint
- ribbon (optional)
note: the wood heart was cut out of wood for this project, but you could maybe buy something similar at a craft store.
I then painted the heart. It came out cute but it was a result of a mistake. I painted the outer edge with brown paint cause I planned on doing the Vaseline trick and then painting it red and having it look aged. but..... when it came time to paint it red I only had one bottle of red craft paint that was pretty much empty, but due to me not wanting to go to the store I squeezed out enough to get one coat on and this is what happened. I love it.
Then, you take the wire hanger and use it to attach the canning jar to the wood. There are 4 holes drilled into the wood to pull the wire through. Then I added the ribbon to cute it up.
Now I have a place to show my husband's pretty flowers.
